At Balcatta Primary School, we aim to empower students to reach their full potential and develop values to participate as informed, responsible members of our multicultural society in an increasingly diverse and complex world.

Literacy and numeracy are a whole school focus, developing these critical skills from the early years.  High quality evidence-based teaching and assessment ensures on-going progress across the curriculum with embedded digital technologies.

Our curriculum also recognises that developing your child’s self-esteem, emotional regulation and ability to take responsibility is vital for their wellbeing and care. We teach these explicitly through Zones of Regulation and restorative practice.

We develop qualities of respect, inclusion, striving for personal best and exploring decisions through our school RISE values to ensure a safe and supportive learning environment.
